Christening Saying On Cakes

Review 2010

The fateful hour balance sheets End of year has come! Our blog has existed for three years, each year the issue of TOP was pushed under the rug, swept by the usual arguments against TOPs that can actually cool guys who are a little too many questions, like: "And what -what happens if next March 3 I discover such a movie and forgot mega better than my top ten films together, "or" Remember the year of grace 1982, when I fucked Koyaanisqatsi atop my top to look close, while the same year AND burst the big screen by pointing his finger at my hole. I was not born in 82 whore, you can make mistakes when one is not born! ". Exit all these little annoyances. Now walk to the blog background, it was almost 20 visits per day, no off our own visits so it can be 19 times us and a fan of Lindsay Lohan but the absolute level of stats is great shape on our platform. So even if it is delayed by one month, there had to be Top and Top there a. To do this, we offer you our two respective rankings, which will have two Top 5, with brief comments to be particularly enlightening for movies that we have not yet mentioned (note that an article will develop our views on virtually every movie). Following what will the top players of he dared! , which we also asked to list the worst movies of 2010.

Felix :

1) Certified copy Abbas Kiarostami

My sidekick will speak certainly better than me. I found the movies with him, and it was a real delight. Lightened by a certain heaviness in this allegory A Taste of Cherry , Abbas Kiarostami book a work poetry that recalls the strength and grandeur of the film, brought here by a disarmingly simple via a magnificent turnaround. This film simply gives a high idea of cinema, and that is that we must recognize the most successful.

2) A Brand New Life of Ouine Lecomte

A Brand New Life is a little gem, with a sensitivity and a rare beauty. I regret that likewise has not heard of. This film deserves all the praise. It moved me deeply, so much so that I even difficult to speak with dignity.

3) In his eyes Juan Jose Campanella

In his eyes is an extremely attractive film, a creature of festoche covered with awards of all kinds, and I'm completely fallen under his charm. I took a real pleasure to follow him, a pleasure I had not felt since a lease when I found out. In his eyes is a very high entertainment bill, managing to mix different genres into a Hollywood film must have looked with envy and impotence.

4) The House of the Devil Ti West

I've already talked about this film detail some time ago. I have not seen him since, maybe they should, but it left me a beautiful feeling that I put it here without asking more questions. For me, it's just one of the best horror movies of recent years, and a more fitting tribute to the genre films that can be works like Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez . Ti West reminds us that a good horror film can be done on a shoestring, so we are full of good intentions. The House of the Devil is a movie to discover them for fans, and I even recommend to others.

5) Moon Duncan Jones

To be honest with you, know that I hesitated between Moon and MacGruber for fifth place on my top staff. MacGruber killed me laugh several times, including during two terrible scenes which alone justified the presence of the film in my top. But once will not hurt, the seriousness caught me, and I opted to list here this sci-fi that is intelligent and rare Moon, which perhaps we'll talk at greater length soon. It is also worth noting that this is the first feature film by Duncan Jones, son of David Bowie. Expected already her next film , pitch catchy, forward, and we hope with all my heart that he will continue on this path.

And after?

As I said, I actually hesitated for fifth place on my podium ... I would have liked to put The Other Guys (Aka Very Bad Cops in vf), the latest comedy from Will Ferrell, as I remain a fan of the guy, I almost did. Is that a place in my top it was all booked. Alas, the film is not up to par, and although it is often quite funny, the disappointment is still the dominant feeling. I also hesitated with regard Ouine Lecomte. I do not know if we could say "a film Ouine Lecomte," the "to Ouine" bothered me. I said out loud several times to help me, and I finally decided to write "Ouine Lecomte. That's all you know. Apart from that, I also wanted to clarify that are still many films I have yet to see, and some of these films are even present in the top you will find below. I think especially to Venus Black I'm pretty sure that I like, given the criminal record of Abdellatif Kechiche.

Remi :

1) Certified copy Abbas Kiarostami

On top of this ranking I had no difficulty placing the extraordinary film by Abbas Kiarostami. A sublime film, absolutely perfect, and all points of view. Carried by a Juliette Binoche breathtaking film is exciting and deeply rich in both, which makes a total freedom and that leaves much to the viewer. Free one to try to discern fact from fiction in this story in two parts, or to make a personal truth, or, better yet, free to the viewer to draw from an inexhaustible source of joy to a film that does not choose, which do not respond, which simply play the score, a brilliant film about art, about the couple, a movie carried by grace. A film that reminds everyone especially the elemental beauty, efficiency and powerful sense of wonder of an art film which would almost forget how precious it is.

2) Uncle Boonmee (who remembers his past lives) by Apichatpong Weerasethakul

For the same power to the enchantment that the film Apichatpong Weerasethakul landed in second place in my ranking. Because even if this movie got less directly affected than Kiarostami, he never left me since I've seen the movies. I'm anxious to see him to find his best moments for me subjugated and soak again. Flanking the core sequence, which hit their peak, the opening and closing of the film claim conversely a more realistic style that makes the picnic in the present reign of a film speed, and sensational special effects. At the turn of a single false connection or an ordinary shot / reverse shot, reminds us Weerasethakul modestly and freely available to all art, the oldest and rudimentary techniques are an inexhaustible resource of rapture.

3) Bright star of Jane Campion

I said in these pages my love for this film, which has certainly not power or brightness two works I mentioned earlier, but nevertheless demonstrated a sensitivity and intelligence is increasingly rare today. Simultaneously realistic and poetic literally, Jane Campion's film is simply beautiful and very touching. It's just a movie about the nobility of feelings, which refuses to facilities and platitudes of romances current slump, which has bet on an original script, worked and enjoyable. With the bias of a conventional staging, and telling the love story of a romantic poet maudit, the filmmaker plays with clichés and grotesque touch to the most obvious subtlety. (See my review of the movie on the blog).

4) Black Venus Abdellatif Kechiche

With his third film Abdellatif Kechiche itself as a contemporary French filmmakers of the most important at the same time he promised a considerable work ahead. With humility and without giving it the air, he made a film of prodigious ambition. A long movie, but certainly history that showcases the fiction, in which the director confirms his talent, so rare, "storyteller." His storytelling is unusual and it becomes particularly effective when it takes on qualities for a documentary film very hard, with a keen intelligence, which of aggravation took the repeats will not leave unscathed and question the very role of the viewer.

5) Tour Mathieu Amalric

is welcome return to serious Mathieu Amalric, who sadly after scattered in a thousand roles as actor, is finally back behind the camera to direct a film vigorous, imperfect, uneven and conditioner. Because his film is all that once, so it is easy to confess mixed about it. Indeed, the sequences are music hall another level as more intimate sequences. But the marriage between these two worlds, these two fictions, works nonetheless. While the filmmaker does not take all his promises, those we had sent with his early accomplishments. Still, this film seems to have been done from life, is carried away by a breath of freedom and energy that makes a very foolish and that in itself is a new promise.

And after?

But I must speak briefly of these losers who could win. I hesitated, reluctant as always with this kind of ranking. It has pushed the gate. Among the losers, two films which my friend you will have spoken, the overwhelming A Brand New Life and very pleasant Moon. But two other films: Of Men and Gods and Bad Lieutenant , rightly acclaimed by our readers. I've already talked about the power of narrative film by Werner Herzog. Still a long and exhausting dense film, full of ambition and force that tends to finger her Hollywood by insisting on the possibilities and the richness of this Under the so-called simplicity. Or when the film he remembers enough of a lizard and an art of framing to evoke the inner world of a devastated real character in the guise ungrateful and adorable Nicolas Cage. As for the film by Xavier Beauvois, he also earned a spot in the rankings. On a topic far from clear with great skill, however, the film divides. Did not bother to political correctness which means that we avoid at all costs any evidence of Manichaeism or the smallest hint of complacency, the French director makes a pure hagiography, and so much for nuance. This sincere love for his characters, modeled on their own feelings, that could also qualify for the blind and is appealing enough to aggravate. Ditto for the sequence of the final meal on a background of Tchaikovsky, who swings between the ridiculous and magnificent. At the end of cinema is rather broadly positive that I had chosen the film. I can not wait to see him for maybe confirmed - at least I hope - this trial.

Top 10 players:

1) Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans Werner Herzog
2) True copy Abbas Kiarostami
3 ) Bright star of Jane Campion
4) Mother Bong Joon-ho
5) In his eyes Juan Jose Campanella
6) Uncle Boonmee Apichatpong Weerasethakul
7) A Brand New Life of Ouine Lecomte
8) Moon Duncan Jones
9) Black Venus Abdellatif Kechiche
10) Of Men and Gods by Xavier Beauvois

With this top, so our readers appear in perfect harmony with ourselves, since only Mother is not already in one of our two tops. Although it was viewed without displeasure, movie Bong Joon-ho, we were not totally convinced. Fail to enter this classification: Breathless , Fantastic Mr Fox , Lisbon Mysteries, The Town , Toy Story 3 and The Ghost Writer , it might even appear to a much better place if one of our readers had not at the top of the flop (she is tall and spins easily donuts, so we have nothing to do). This is the Werner Herzog film that appealed to many, and it logically why he finds himself at the top of this top. Nicolas Cage has found its fans, for sure.

FLOP The 10 players:

1) The Social Network David Fincher
2) Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton
3) Any that glitters Géraldine Nakache
4) Knight & Day James Mangold
5) Les Petits handkerchiefs Guillaume Canet
6) Mr Nobody Jaco van Dormael
7) Gainsbourg (heroic life) Joann Sfar
8) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 David Yates
9) Adventures extraordinary Adele Blanc-Sec Luc Besson
10) Heartbeats Xavier Dolan

real plebiscite for the latest film from David Fincher, The Social Network yet on course to win all the Oscars and that can also be found at the top of tops on many other blogs and magazines of all kinds. We must believe that it is among the readers of our blog that Fincher has done "a few enemies." Add that if only we are here very proud of our players. To be honest with you, know that a review of the movie by David Fincher in our sleeping rough for over two months. Should think this film is so boring that we are reticent to even come back to tell you wrong. But this criticism is coming soon, I promise. For the rest, what about? Expressed by a real release for all these shitty big machines, with which we were basins for weeks or even more, it is globally (Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, etc.) or only in our sweet and beautiful countries (Gainsbourg, Everything shines, The Little handkerchiefs, Adele Blanc-Sec). You could almost surprised not to find Inception in this flop. He could have included, as some of you have indeed hated, but some others liked it and placed it in their tops ... In any case, we will try to criticize him soon, although as the film Fincher we delay the deadline for fear of us back into the sick mind of Chris Nolan.

We thank all those who kindly participated in these rankings.

Does Dropped Utures Effect Hip

Unthinkable Carlos

Unthinkable (stupidly retitled No Limit in VF) is a hard-boiled thriller released in U.S. on our screens sly French but has made a great hit across the Atlantic where the specter of terrorism is perhaps heavier than here. Because this film does deal with this issue, and frankly, better put us face our own fears, helpless and dumbfounded. The story is simple: poor guy claims to have stashed three nuclear bombs in three U.S. megacities. Obviously, it does not say precisely where the bombs are hidden in which the explosion is imminent. Therefore, as time is running out, the FBI decides to call in reinforcements his most terrible agent, the they come out of his cage in cases of extreme emergency, when it comes to spill the beans to a reluctant villain. This man, this brutal negotiator with questionable methods and with spectacular results, that Samuel L. Jackson, who is nicknamed H here because it must be a fan of the tv series. This actor we all love here is on autopilot, even more than in the hilarious Snakes on a plane . It seems mainly there to cash his paycheck and charm to make her partner, Carrie-Anne Moss hungry, who never leaves clearly not indifferent to judge the large bump on his trousers he crawls from the beginning at the end of this feature.

As the title indicates, Samuel L. Jackson, assisted by Carrie-Ann Moses, is going to commit the unthinkable to cause a terrorist determined to reveal nothing (when Jackson delivered the title is perhaps the only thing a bit funny movie). Unthinkable appears as a sort of compilation of all the worst moments of the series 24, all these scenes at the dubious moral and politically incorrect that participated in building the reputation mid-fig and grape in this series, where our good Jack Bauer employs harshest methods to cause its enemies. Samuel L. Jackson still trying to innovate, which gives rise to passages crazy.

After trying the classic "I'll put the 199 watt lamp in the mouth" without success, Sam Jackson has fun at first to hang battery clamps on each testicle of the terrorist to make him talk. In itself this move is already very painful, and terror does not fail to scream. But L. Jackson goes further in the sadistic by plugging the other end of the battery clips to his car, which then accelerates and climbs into neutral and the handbrake held firmly who vied to scream louder than ever terrorist terrorized. At this point we wonder which one is the craziest! Madness! Especially in a morbid detail, Samuel L. Jackson tries to sing "Twinkle, Moon" to the terrorist by modulating its pressure on the accelerator pedal.

In a terrible moment, Samuel "Lois & Clark" Jackson takes up the terrorist and his ankle is cracking a circular blow dry. Subsequent to that, he is forced to play with him at some indoor football frenzied, against his own cousin, who takes very seriously ces confrontations. A ce moment-là, le terroriste n'en peut plus et donne la localisation Geographical three bombs (Paris and Tours in Texas, and Montpellier, Vermont) and the date of its first masturbation "effective" in front of Samuel "Lou Reed" Jackson did not ask for much.

At the end, I storyline spoil here without any qualms, we learn that there was not paralyzed three bombs, but four (in Paris Arkansas). Is the twist of the film I just fanned. I make you win half past one, take it as a service. We guess this last bomb explode in the end credits, which is one of the darkest history film. In short, a film that leaves a strange feeling!

Mortality Rates For The Navy 2010

This article is divided into two parts. Initially, the long version of the film by Olivier Assayas - long being a mild euphemism for a film lasting about six hours and aired as a miniseries on Canal + - will be analyzed and criticized by a guest: Joe, founder and editor of the famous musical webzine Heard It . And in a second time, Writing has dared tackle the short version of Carlos , dedicated to the major cinema screens. But first, here is the detailed and reasoned opinion of Joe, our first guest editor: Carlos

(long version):

It must be said that this is not a biopic. Assayas has not tried to copy reality, or at least I do not think so. It is not Mesrine much less La Vie . It is a historical film and politics. Assayas has placed its point of view, he who proclaims and situationist who was there at the time, a young man who could judge the events. Moreover, Carlos, from prison, and has protested lugging Assayas court for the money (we used her life as a film about profit) but also apparently non-compliance of the facts (it does Gaddafi is not Hussein but who have sponsored the hostage taking of OPEC, etc.) and finally of course, because the facts presented in the film (including the bombings in France for the release of Kopp and Breguet) tend to incriminate Carlos when the trial related to these crimes has not yet been opened. It is not a biopic, it film history and politics.

And it is one fun to watch. Because qu'Assayas is a good director, obviously, with which even the supporting roles are the second most important wild (and most importantly, they are played by actors that are not necessarily used to seeing ALL in feature films within seconds roles, and these people seem real, they are not characters, caricatures, "reds" are the common people: think of the pair linked to the embassy of France from Syria who is gun down at one time or even the police or the DST OPEC delegates), and who knows highlight what it takes. When an event occurs and it is important to point out to better understand the result of the plot (Carlos descends a member of the Libyan delegation, Angie has doubts about the operation, an inspector told a DST another that it is not necessary to take his service weapon to get Rue Toss ...), Assayas does not force the line: it includes but is not obsessed with details and we do not printing a brainwashing. Then the rhythm management could not be more successful: no need for sensationalism in the bombings or hostage taking, nor to show more than necessary, but the action is gripping and fast RAM. Instead, the last part of the film, slow, painfully, is a reflection of the life of Carlos, the life of the Revolution which he represents. The end of the Cold War, the end of Carlos is a slow decline and Assayas does not try to make it more interesting, anyway it would serve his thesis, which does not hide us, is that of the failure of the Revolution.

From a historical perspective, anyone who has not lived through that period with eyes open will find satisfaction in the revelation causes of death. Like those American cop shows where a corpse is found and where they send experts to discover who killed him, when, how and why. When I was a child one day, I was told that the USSR no longer existed and that the Berlin Wall fell. Obviously I did not understand, even if later, the ins and outs were communicated to me, it is a historical film with such a guy like me who has not had the courage to read books on the Cold War could understand how and why.

As the film begins, we come to say qu'Assayas account glorify Carlos make a Che, an icon, and indeed, we would not say no. Edgar Ramirez is a talented actor whose fluency and have given me want to speak English, German and Arabic as well as himself, including English and French are also perfect (it must be understood pronounced "petty bourgeois" ). Not Hollywood (loosely or outrageously pedantic hero king of pathos, even when it takes many pounds "for the role), Edgar Ramirez is right when he states and big words leftists they believe him, but did idolatry because his character is not a failure from the start. Ilich Ramirez Sanchez is the son of a wealthy lawyer, high London in a socialist family, and sent to Moscow, and his revolutionary spirit is undermined from the outset by its comfort and desire of vainglory. The point of no return is obviously reached when Carlos agrees to meet Boumediene and Bouteflika in Algiers, before accepting the ransom. The simple fact of the meeting forced him to abandon his ideals. From there, it seems that no act, terrorist or not, his group has no other meaning than to preserve its own existence. Weinrich and Ali are only his aides and Carlos is an arms dealer, not a revolutionary. Moreover, when at last, the group seems to be back on a more active failure is straightforward: Kopp and Breguet are stopped before they even leave the parking the car bomb attacks and the following cases are not intended to convey a revolutionary message or fight capitalism: the explosion of the car bomb outside the Arabic newspaper is a "job" for the Syrians and the attacks on trains are designed to free Kopp and Breguet, ie to save two soldiers, ill soldiers. The personal interest, absent from the revolutionary Communist rule, is the only thing that turned to Carlos and his men.

It would have been easy to make this film a nostalgic and romantic ode to the Revolution, to Communism, but it is not the case. Besides Carlos is not a heroic figure. The hostage-taking of OPEC, I'm not (on principle, not the facts), as the attempted murder of one of the President of the British clothing chain, which was a Zionist. These are politically motivated. Bomber the Drugstore, bulging trains to save his soldiers, and so on, it's not the Revolution. That may be one reason why Carlos (the real, whose ego should not be very small) did not like what he saw Film: his life is presented as a failure and worse, as a symbol of the defeat that led to the New World Order at the time. Weinrich told him, in the end, with tears in his eyes: "The war is over ..... and we lost."

From a personal perspective, as a scathing critique of the capitalist world order (and especially its failure, for him, especially moral), and as pro-Palestinian crossing I find myself captivated by this film before the collision between big ideas and sad egos, between big projects and sad interest. I tell myself that I found interesting live this period but the disappointment was certainly worse than the hippies fifteen years earlier. I console myself with a director, actors and film fun and the icing on the cake, a habit with Assayas, a dream soundtrack, since these are songs of Wire, one of the best British bands of all time and probably the one I listen to the most right now, that illustrate the key passages of the film without the music takes precedence over the images or not romanticize the script. They only serve to help build tension or atmosphere. What joy.

_______________________________________________________________

Writing And now he takes over dared to follow up on the movie version of this film.

Carlos (short version): A short version

long anyway to 3 hours, which looks good and that sometimes follows with interest because Assayas is a gifted filmmaker, even when poured into this other for most American cinema. At first the story is rather catchy and at the same time quite annoying, especially because this way the filmmaker's body of Carlos naked in the shower background music "New Wave". The music, obviously adored The filmmaker's doubtful becomes almost criminal to illustrate the life of a pathetic pseudo-revolutionary terrorist, turned into a playboy for the purpose of adaptation. Edgar Ramirez, a handsome man, who carries the film on his shoulders by a flawless work of incarnation, makes us cudgel, and it's embarrassing to cudgel on a guy. I talk about the sequence where our man begins swinging a bomb in a public place, exploding in the back with great fanfare cries torn, then kneaded his beautiful cock in front of a cracked-mirror, naked and prominent, beautiful like a god, ass bomb at the window, while the background music "cool", which makes a sort of icon Carlos, a hero class too, a great gangster, what we have already seen and reviewed a thousand times elsewhere, especially among the Yanks. This sequence, which we guess it is there to dramatize the character's megalomania, he wore the beautiful at this time of his life, or status as an instant star of terrorism, is nevertheless slightly disturbing, even a little depressing.

But soon you begin to understand that the hero of this movie is not one, as his feats are limited to the murder of a handful of cops and a trade policy terrorist borked (Since spleen, but also in the sense that the revolution was already a tenure to assassinate the oil ministers of the countries opposed to Iraq under the guise of idealism, anti-capitalist), and that 'In fact what we are told is the story of an asshole that party revolutionary ideals, has returned to lack of a better interest much lower personal and the beautiful bandit venerable media Carlos went to fatso stashed and destitute, captured after an illness of balls. And we understand better the idea of the film and the reason that drove the first film to Assayas Carlos as an attractive celebrity to better tell the truth in the second half of his film. But that does not seriously be bored. We are bored

first because the whole end of the movie is boring as it is not allowed. We are bored because since it is a true story, Assayas, as any biographer, felt obliged to incorporate its too long movie sequences that have no interest and that the filmmaker never filmed, never mounted or, if he himself had written this story. We guess that these sequences actually come from the extra long version, or if they were justified in a six-hour film certainly much more complex and rich in historical and political, they are quickly becoming irrelevant in a short version should say a lot less relevant. There is no doubt that this movie was filmed for television and to last six hours, and that is the movie version is a condensed awkward. We are bored because we finally see that the whole point of the film lies in this metamorphosis due to failure of the hero, or the staging remains with the opening of the story, the kind still in series and a regrettable vein biopic, it does not change and is hardly exciting, and this even if the film is signed Assayas and is therefore a thousand times better realized that all the World Series. Assayas has not completely lost his personal touch in this operation and his film, which still finds a good balance between action scenes and sequences quieter, can sometimes make you think an American film of the 70's, in the Lumet's kind of when he was still in shape. Nevertheless we follow the movie without really be interested, without really finding his account. Not sure that ale desire to see him. Not sure that is slow to forget ...

However
I will never forget that this plan when the terrorists led by Carlos, finally leaving the conference of OPEC leadership the airport, with all the hostages held at gunpoint in the bus they were granted, and where we see the coach in question, drawn curtains, move away slowly, led by an Arab terrorist these nihilists, when suddenly the flashing light to indicate that the bus will turn left. This guy who drives the bus, part of a handful of suicide terrorists convicted of the murder of a statesman and Austrian police, ready to carry weapons by the leaders of several countries in the world that he and his comrades to take hostages Baghdad, the guy who drives this bus with all the TV shows filmed and endorsed by dozens of police, this great murderer political fathom that death look, this guy at this point, he put the flashing on the left before turning. That I will never forget.

Who Is Good Dr Arvind Poswal Vs Dr Madhu

credible response of a wise old soul

My friend Roland, by your experience and your strength,
you've always been a beacon
your pain makes me want to live

The Big Brain - Roland Beil

This sentence was the key to my decision ... So this morning at the hospital for a first contact this year with Dr. Florescu, for treatment research at the Jewish GH. Going there, I knew very well what would be my answer. Once it is made, it's easy and unconditional. When the doctor asked me if I left, I said firmly and clearly yes, here we go!. She said encored several times (because there are people who withdraw once everything is committed).

But this is not yet a final decision, the signing of the contract, since it is conditional for exams I have to do again, heart, abdomen, chest and brain. These tests will be done within two weeks and I see the doctor on February 17, which is pretty fast. I'm pretty excited.
So here, there are still a few steps, but we took the right direction (especially me). There is of course no guarantee that all this success, but if I could have a small extension, or more, I would not say no ...

well here's news of the day, nothing too spectacular, but a new opening more interesting than to languish in palliative care. Now I am really motivated and things seem to appear rather bien.Après clinical examination, Dr. Florescu found me "Top Shape" are his words.
Because I also could readily say "no, the chemo, I do not want it" and let nature take its course. But incredibly, the psychological effect of illness on tonight, I feel less sick yesterday.
A huge thank you to Roland, who knows how to do something impossible.

Dear Denis, what great typo, it's too honorable and too important, too responsibility. But I take and I'm happy because I have a chance to see you again when the weather will be better. I still said it was not likely to happen to me, to my knowledge there is no treatment that heals the damage that my carcass undergoes. There well here and there a few experiments miéline grafts, or computer equipment, but it's certainly not me who could benefit: too old, and reaches for far too long. I do not even entitled to a cure yet what I would do the most good-young and only recently have uneven access. For me, démerden Sie sich. To suffer less and be able to deliver me, even as there are 2 or 3 years ago at a training day for several hours, should I increase the dose of Moscontin which is the same for 16 ans.Seulement's the dilemma What I take at this time is already limited at the torpor, the general slowdown that makes me move like these marsupials (called "lazy" I think) style slow-motion, and the head is a bit slow too. A real puzzle. There I too badly, and there are few days when I can motivate myself to move, just because I did not want to shit. But if I increase the morphine, it is the stupidity that is watching me. Waiting for the spring.

Black Stools And Blueberries

sister, surviving a difficult fight for four years

Remove from denial to get out alive until the end.

How are you today? Surely few months that I ride on your wonderful site, a haven of peace accomplice of my internal wars, thank you. Today, I drives me a fresh energy and draws map of my journey with my lung cancer.
In autumn 2006, I received the visit of NSCLC, embarrassed at first, a small, concealed his small nodule stage III with metastases to the mediastinum. December 22, was removed and the lobe reaches its neighboring nodes. Still under the shock of diagnosis, confused, I started chemo (Cisplatin and Vinorelbine) called aggressive (the word is sweet) whose effects led to discontinuation of treatment because of high toxicity. I felt guilty! Was it a failure? And it is the remission. Six months later, I covered them in good shape and went back on the job market, both by necessity and passion for the business, which relies on the passing of time leaving once again in their boxes, notebooks, pens and brushes, stifled my dreams! In February 2009, at the edge of my 57 years that cancer is waking up, like a volcano splashing its embers both my lungs and mediastinum, stage IV. I wanted treatment in January 2010 when I finally recognized that the disease was real and that a refusal of treatment meant for me to abandon the fight of my life, suicide spiritual. Palliative chemotherapy (carboplatin and gemcitabine). After five months of treatment rather painful déjà vu, the disease sleep better return in force for less than two months later. I'm worried, but I continue. I'm on my second palliative chemotherapy (Taxotere), an attempt to slow the progression of the disease, I am trying to rekindle my creativity. Click! I feel such joy, yes, I feel alive again. Thank you, Denis. I'm sending all my good feelings.

is what I wrote last October. Since then, a transition to scan showed new metastases and lung damage. A final meeting with my oncologist and my nurse to the pivot point, confirm the decision of Taxotere become ineffective and announce the end of treatment in any form whatsoever. No more chemo, I proceeded to the stage of palliative care. Three to six months the doctor said. Now, we manage the pain, food and everything that will help me live better with cancer at home. My optimism turned into a stupor. I knew I was heading toward some kind of purpose. I had seen any new symptoms, dabbled new bumps and felt the pain intensify. The facts do not lie. Yet speak Is there no unexplained healings? the power of self-healing? My hopes seem endless, but my faith is weak against the unknown that is death. Life goes on and death does mark the end, probably ...

It is a matter of time. I am a master at breaking actions. I excel in all kinds and the delay in putting off until tomorrow. And today, the time I press more than ever. I compose with time as the child who does not sleep at night. I feel the urgency to act and turning around like a top. The present moment. The sacred moment remains the only way to face this tough opponent is time.
The days are long. The days go so fast. I hang. I hang all that easy to me out of time to get comfortable ... passenger, a forgotten reality. And I landed painfully, alone and lost. So I cling to the present moment, I practice detachment and compassion, I adapt and I feel better. I enjoy this new phase of my life, free treatment. Freed also the feeling of having been abandoned after four years of monitoring in oncology. The cancer was just one stage to live. Now, I open myself to the warm welcome of the team of palliative home care and support of my precious son, my little sister and my friends. I learn to receive love and generosity of my relatives.

My doubts on my back .. oncology

Meet Dr. F., who treated me so well for over three years was a goal dating back to late 2009. At times throughout this year, I thought that I never go there. "

Yet it happened: What a pleasure! I foresaw our meeting in an office rather than in the corridors. (But that's for the next meeting). Returning, at home after our impromptu meeting, I was all fire and flame, compared to the possibility of another treatment (protocol research), perhaps an extension of life. So I expressed on my blog so colorful, a little exuberant.

I realized that the stakes were quite specific, issues of life and death, the fundamental issues and it is important not to close the debate from a side or another to make an informed decision. It is open to anything that can think, he should talk about and we must allow time and space to think about all that. There is nobody who can make the decision for me and assume that decision. We would like to make a decision without too have consequences.
Today, a few days later, the state of my thinking seems more mixed, tempered, and I'm in a period of blur.

for treatment, it will take at least one scanner, examinations, that is to say abandon the choice I made not to see the progress of my illness to avoid disappointment and anguish.
These treatments, it is a comfort zone that I am asked to leave.
I could see this as a new research project, I have little right now, but a risky project. Is this the kind of project that I like?

The result will he live up to my expectations, not only will I lose my capacity present life, pain control, continue home care?
avoid complications that may endanger myself.
Have proper medical supervision, to flee the effort and stress. Will I be affected by a scanner that I decided to do more? Currently I do not know anything and I live very well with. If I'm told you can not do the treatment, is it not likely to plunge me into despair?

The wisest course is to wait until the 25th, listen to the proposal, think again, tread carefully, always keep a space for reflection, the right to stop if I feel it does not suit me in my feelings .. If this adventure, I lose my ability to create, learn, write, then nature is likely to make his work faster.

Embarking on a new adventure, complex and challenging for the 5th time, whereas my current quality of life brings me a perfectly acceptable, brings questions, which are currently unanswered.

Joby Talbot - The Kiss Piano Sheet Music

Young My poor fish

In a beautiful mountain lake, a young fish to death was unfortunate not to swim. His entourage was nice to confirm that he was surrounded by water, he did not drown and that if n had never learned to swim because it was all fish in the world could swim, he wanted nothing to do. He remained carpet in a rock and die. A healer came to whisper a secret. When he awoke the fish was war. The water had become his element. He was fearless. He could not reveal his secret, but it tells only attentive ears revealed in dreams. If the girl agreed to sleep a little, she might hear him whisper his secret fish. The monk smiled, noting that the girl had fallen asleep listening to his story. He left quietly. She came the next day to thank him for his concern and tell him that she had rested a clear mind and without anxiety. Without knowing results it was nevertheless at peace knowing he did his best to succeed. The monk knew then that the fish in a dream he had whispered mushotoku.

A new research protocol for me?

Despite 4 years after diagnosis of cancer, after 9 months of palliative care, the chances are that I make my return soon to the club re-treated in oncology.
Indeed, Dr. MF, Hemato-oncologist who followed me three years, through 4 protocols different returned from his long vacation a year. In the meeting in the corridors of the service, she said: "You look well, we can not let Mr. Caspar palliative care.. We'll work it through targeted therapies.

Dr. MF asked if I was interested in the research process. Of course it An appointment was given to me to see the specifications, prepare the transfer of the case and everything that implies. First, it must meet the eligibility criteria, which are sometimes severe .... What molecule will be used? What technology? What lab? At which institution? When? Is treatment mandatory, difficult, long-lived?

And I think it is a serious probability that it succeeds.
Prime appointments, the 25 January 2011, to discuss ...

"What a beautiful job you "This sentence there, I heard more than once in service.
I put on my coat, I'm here for you, I am your nurse. I see you naked, I see you suffer, sometimes I listen to these secrets you never told your loved ones. I am at your service, dedication and understanding. For years I note memories, meetings, a few words scrawled on the body that I have encountered, the laughter and the tears, wounds that will not leave me and smiles again rejoice.
Small paper trail of these moments, small notebooks in the depths of my pockets that I share with you today. What a beautiful job I do, yes, let me tell you.
